How to delete or disable your account

How to permanently delete or temporarily disable your Fluxer account, and what happens to your data.

Updated this week

You can disable or delete your account from your account settings.

How to find these options

  1. Open Settings (cogwheel, bottom left).

  2. Go to Security & Login.

  3. Choose Delete account or Disable account.

Deleting your account

Choosing delete starts a 14-day waiting period before permanent removal. During this period, you can cancel by logging in again. After 14 days, your account and data are permanently removed.

Inactive accounts are automatically deleted after two years.

Messages

Your messages remain on the platform unless you delete them first:

You won't be able to delete your messages after your account is removed, so make sure to handle your data beforehand.

Disabling your account

Disabling signs you out of all devices. Your account stays on the platform but is inaccessible until you log in again.

At a glance

  • Disable: signs you out of all devices. Log in again any time to re-enable.

  • Delete: permanent removal after 14 days. Log in within that window to cancel.
